Dunn Consulting Group was founded
by a business professional with over 30 years business
management experience in the commercial banking and commercial
finance sectors. During his corporate career, Mr. Thomas
Dunn held a variety of different positions of increasing
responsibility, primarily in commercial banking and commercial
finance. He is an experienced senior management credit/operations
problem-solver with detail-level skills in leading and
motivating staff, turnaround situations and MIS Project
Management. Tom has in-depth knowledge and proven management
experience of asset-based lending, timeshare finance,
commercial lending and information systems. His strengths
include a strong sense of urgency and he is results oriented.
Through his business relationships with Textron Financial
and Textron Systems, Tom most recently was responsible
for managing the assets and successful loan repayment
resulting from a “363” foreclosure sale
in Bankruptcy Court giving possession of all assets
to the lender. After Hurricane Katrina, Tom managed
the successful site selection and implementation of
temporary housing of FEMA trailers for displaced employees
on leased land and just completed the closure of that
site in November 2006.
Tom founded Dunn Consulting Group to continue those
efforts and to provide quality service and proven results
for business turnarounds and project management solutions.

The Department of Homeland Security's
Recovery program ensures that individuals and communities
affected by disasters of all sizes, including catastrophic
and terrorist events, are able to return to normal function
with minimal suffering and disruption of services.
We are taking the following actions
to improve the performance of the program:
Developing baseline information
on costs of delivering assistance to inform future
performance measurement.
Collecting quarterly information
on performance and using
it to inform program management and improve performance.
Integrating the National Response Plan, which was
released by DHS after this assessment was performed
into FEMA's Recovery program operations.
